Synopsis

This documentary tells the story of Puerto Rican cinema, from its inception to the present day. It contains over a hundred clips from many of the island’s key films, all stitched together with narration from and interviews with some of Puerto Rico’s established and emerging filmmakers. They consider questions such as: What issues are reflected? How are they presented? And are the films representative of the Puerto Rican culture and reality?
