Eleanor Yule studied Film at Glasgow and Bristol Universities. Her short film A Small Deposit (1993) was nominated for a BAFTA award. Her documentary work for the BBC includes a profile of the psychiatrist RD Laing, one on the French painter Pierre Bonnard, and one on the writer Muriel Spark.
