Bissoon, a retired farmer, wakes up one morning to find his old radio set has blown a fuse. He goes to the village shop to replace it. The shopkeeper, Ah-Yan, tries to convince him to buy a new radio instead.

David Constantin
David Constantin was born in Mauritius in 1974, and studied at the Higher School of Audiovisuals in Toulouse, France. He is the founder of Festival Iles Courts, a festival of short films of the Indian Ocean islands. He has directed several short fiction and documentary films as well as a couple of documentary features. In 2014, he directed his first fiction feature, Sugarcane Shadows.
