Sofia is disappointed when her father has no time to teach her to ride her new bicycle. So she gets her hyperactive, hyperbole-prone friend Ren to teach her instead. Things come to a head when Ren introduces Sofia to a time-honoured tradition: free-wheeling down the largest hill in town.

Jaselle Martino was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, and studied Broadcast Journalism and Theatre at the University of Arkansas. Bike Tales (2014), her first film, has been nominated for the 2014 Young Artists Awards in Hollywood. She is the producer of another short, Take Me Home (2014), which has screened at the New York No Limits Festival and recently directed a tango film noir called Closed Position.
